Collapsible Hula Hoops?
Well, of course :) Are you just learning to hoop? Do you want to hoop better? Well, practice...hoop hoop hoop.
You'll be more likely to carry your hoop with you if it's comfortable to tote around. A full size hoop at 42" was just a bit much for me to carry around, especially when I wanted to carry 2 or 3 hoops to the beach or the gym. These hoops twist and fold into themselves to become a nice neat 21" double hoop. Throw it over your shoulder, wear it around your waist, hang it from your backpack, it's easy to carry now.
If you prefer a more rugged "solid" hula hoop that doesn't collapse, just let me know in order.

Recently, I was asked why I mentioned the "psi" in the hoop descriptions. This was my answer:
"It's all a matter of preference. Most of the new Hoopers I've spoken with prefer the heavier 3/4" 160 psi hoop. It tends to stay up and stick to your body easier. A 3/4" 100 psi hoop of the same diameter is just a little bit lighter (*diameter of the inside of the tube). A 1/2" 125 hoop of the same diameter is even lighter and is what most experienced hoopers use. Me....I like them all :)
It all sounds very technical and I suppose it is, but it's ... more, really just a matter of preference. I like my 100 psi hoop that I've cut down a little bit smaller to be about 36" across. It's my current favorite for hooping off the body because it's shorter and faster. I like my 160psi / 42" hoop because it's a little bit slower and I have more time to pull off sexy tricks. So: big=slower, small = faster, heavy can = faster, lighter can= slower. Confused enough? :)
Like colors in a box of crayons...I like them all. Depends on my mood."

Hoop Sizes: Adult (Small, Medium, Large) Child and Mini
Small: 32-36" diameter (also a good "child hoop" size)
Medium: 37-41" diameter (fits most hoopers)
Large: 42 - 45" diameter
Adult: Does 42" sound large to you? Yes, these are not your "toy" hoops you'll find at your local discount toy store that are small, light weight and crush easily and are much more difficult to hoop with. You'll be surprised at how much easier it is to hoop with a larger heavier hoop. My full size adult hoops weigh just under 2 lbs and fit just about everybody. Hooping is the easiest when your hoop size is anywhere from an inch or three under your belly button to the middle of your ribs .
Child hoops No measurements are required. Your little one will likely fits a small or medium better than a large hoop :) Little ones grow like weeds.
Your child size hoop will be small enough for your sprout to hoop easily but be large enough that they won't outgrow it in a year. My little boy has been playing with my medium size hoop since age 4. I recommend a small or medium "solid" hoop in the 3/4" 100 psi or 1/2" 125 psi for children.
Mini hoops are 21" and perfect for arm and hand hooping. Hoop one in each hand or two on an arm or several at a time. My mini hoops are made as a 2 hoop matching set *mini hoops are not collapsible*. They're also great for small children to play with. Any mini hoop set can be made to match a full size or child size hoop.
